Prolonged low-level exposure and/or rapid high-level exposure can result in “olfactory fatigue” which deadens our sense of smell, leaving us unaware of the poisonous gas. The air is drawn under negative pressure to help ensure that contaminants are not released prior to reaching the scrubber itself. Once the hazardous fumes are safely transported from their source, the wet scrubber systems convert the vaporous pollutants into a liquid/condensate solution. One of the chemicals used to remove hydrogen sulfide is sodium hydroxide.

It is formulated to have out standing adhesion while demonstrating high resistance to chemicals, water and impact. Mix only an amount of material that can be used within a 3-hour period. Clean tools and equipment with soap and water immediately after use. It has been modified with a special activators which are reinforced with non toxic color stable and weather resistant pigments. Pay special attention to areas where build-ups of dirt, grease and oil exist. Mix with a low speed mixer for 2-5 minutes or with a stir stick for 5-10 minutes, scraping the bottom and sides of the container. Wait approximately 24 to 48 hours for light foot traffic use, 72 to 96 hours for heavy foot traffic, and 5 days for vehicle exposure. Dried material will require a strong solvent, paint thinner or stripper to remove. Silica sand #30 or #60 may be added or broadcast to create a non-skid finish. Apply a medium to heavy first coat then allow a two minute setup time before back rolling all rundowns in the same section.

Responsibility for determining the adhesion and coverage of to an existing finish rests with the applicator.
